Technological Oil Spill: Digital Corruption in Nature

This project builds on my original research into nuclear mutation, which informed the works in my Floral Mutationportfolio. My earlier studies focused on botanical distortions caused by radiation and environmental collapse. This next phase explores the impact of a hypothetical technological oil spill—where digital corruption seeps into the natural world, glitching and mutating floral forms.

By manipulating both historical botanical illustrations and contemporary floral imagery, I examine how pollution, climate change, and technological interference might reshape plant life. The result is a speculative visual language that asks what future florals might look like in a world permanently altered by environmental and digital contamination.
